What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® Cosmetic (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a purified protein that is administered in a simple, nonsurgical procedure to temporarily reduce the 11’s- those moderate to severe frown lines between the brows- in people ages 18 to 65.
Is BOTOX® Cosmetic right for me?
People ages 18 to 65 choose to talk to their doctors about being treated with BOTOX® Cosmetic for a variety of reasons. They may be concerned that their frown lines between the brows make them look tired, stressed, or unapproachable. You may have your own reasons; ask your skin care professional if BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you.
How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?
Very low doses of BOTOX® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for the frown lines between the brows. By blocking the release of the chemical that causes these muscles to contract, BOTOX® Cosmetic enables them to relax, so the skin appears smoother.
How quickly will I see a difference?
Within 1 to 2 days, you may notice a softening in the appearance of your frown lines. The area between your brows may continue to improve for up to a month.
Will I experience any side effects?
The most common side effects following injection include temporary eyelid droop and nausea. Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the injection.
Dysport
Dysport is a purified formulation that has been shown to deliver temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines, even with repeat treatments. With just one injection into each of the 5 points between and over the eyebrows, Dysport stops the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines.

Facial Services

Traditional Facial-
This 60-minute treatment begins with a skin analysis followed by a customized treatment. We will cleanse and exfoliate the skin, then apply an enzyme and steam the skin in order to loosen dead cells and unclog pores. After the steam we will gently extract bacteria and impurities from your pores and give you a neck, shoulder and facial massage. The facial ends with a customized mask according to your specific needs.

Collagen Facial-
This facial is specific and beneficial to a mature skin type. It follows the general procedures of a traditional facial, but includes a massage with collagen ampoules followed by a collagen infused mask. This mask tightens and hydrates the skin immediately giving you a youthful appearance.

Back Facial-
This unique facial is performed on your back. We start by deep cleansing the skin twice using a dermalogical scrub. Then we will use exfoliating mitts and steam to gently extract impurities and unclog pores. Then we will apply an anti-bacterial mask while incubating the skin under a gentle heat. The facial ends with an application of gentle toner and moisturizer.

Ultrasound Facial-
This facial uses a similar procedure to the traditional facial. In addition, we use gentle exfoliation with distilled water and a low current on the ultrasound machine. This facial is ideal for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Microdermabrasion-
This 15-minute treatment uses tiny rough grains to buff away impurities on the surface layer of skin on your face. This treatment will improve skin that has been damaged by the sun or to lessen scars and dark spots. Microdermabrasion will leave your skin feeling youthful and smooth.

Laser Treatment for Acne

Acne Treatment-
This treatment is an effective way to treat acne problems. The laser targets overactive sebaceous glands in your skin, which is the root cause of acne. The treatment consists of:

    • The laser technician will use a small hand piece to deliver the laser pulses to your skin.
    • Depending on the size of the treatment area, the procedure will last between 5 and 15 minutes.
    • Shortly after the treatment, you will start to see a reduction in the number of acne lesions on your skin. Multiple sessions are required depending on each patient.

Laser Treatment for Hair Removal

Hair Removal-
Hair removal laser treatment uses a high-intensity light that penetrates deeply into the skin tissue. The long-pulse laser and the Dynamic Cooling Device offer optimal treatment with minimal side effects. The course of treatment varies with each patient and is determined by which treatment you require and the condition of your skin. The treatment consists of:

    • Your practitioner will guide the laser to the treatment areas with a small hand piece.
    • Each laser pulse may be preceded and followed by a short pulse of cooling spray.
    • The duration of the treatment depends on the area being treated and will most likely necessitate multiple visits.

Laser Treatment for Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal-
Tattoo removal is designed for people who regret the permanence of applied tattoos. This treatment is done with the gentle Candela laser. It is safer than traditional methods and has the unique ability to treat the specific tattoo without damaging the surrounding skin. Course of treatment varies with each patient and is determined by the age, size, type of tattoo, color of the patient’s skin and depth of the tattoo beneath the skin’s surface. The treatment consists of:

    • Placing a hand piece against the surface of the skin and activating the laser.
    • Smaller tattoos will require fewer pulses, while larger ones will require more.
    • All tattoos will require multiple treatments, necessitating multiple patient visits.

Juvederm Young healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid. As you age, time, sunlight and other factors can reduce the amount of hyaluronic acid in your skin. The lack of Hyaluronic acid causes your skin to lose structure and volume − creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds, like those parentheses lines around your nose and mouth. Juvederm XC is formulated with lidocaine, a common anesthetic to provide a more comfortable experience during and after treatment.

Prevelle Silk is used for the correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds (e.g. areas around the nose and the mouth). Prevelle Silk is a colorless hyaluronic acid gel that contains a small quantity of local anesthetic (lidocaine) to provide pain relief at the injection site. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the human body, which moisturizes (hydrates) and cushions the skin. Prevelle Silk is naturally broken down by your body over time.
